6+ years of hands on experience in developing Java applications

• Hands-on experience in strong programming (with coding guidelines), debugging, able to articulate their experience, able to create reusable code etc.

• Self-motivated, proactive, and detail-oriented individual, with excellent written and oral English communication skills

• Proficient in Java with extensive experience in building scalable REST apis using JAX-RS, Jackson etc on Jetty/Tomcat

• Spring boot experience will be useful

• Practical experience with unit testing (e.g., TestNG/JUnit) and mocking (e.g., Mockito) frameworks;

• Practical experience with using tools such as Maven/Gradle

• Experience in understanding the existing code base, making changes on top it which includes refactoring, fixing bugs and develop new features

• Competence in Unix / Linux operating system

• Azure, Kubernetes, Docker, API Gateway experience is preferred

•    Knowledge of relational database concepts and SQL

•   CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Fortify, Sonar, Blackduck
