Excellent knowledge of API Development (RESTful) and should have
actually created API
endpoints in their works. We’re not talking about consuming the APIs
here, we’re talking
about PHP API development experience.
2. The should be well versed in the API security implementation, namely
JWT, OAuth2 and
the like. It is important that they should not only have actual
experience of implementation
of token-based authentication, but also have a thorough conceptual
understanding of tokenbased authentication and security paradigms
3. Have a thorough understanding of the MVC architecture and the
underlying mechanisms.
Should have worked at least with Codeigniter 3.X. MUST have thorough
knowledge of the
following in Slim PHP Framework:
a. The URL routing mechanism,
b. Security and Tokens (JWT),OAuth2,..
c. File Operations and Handling MIME types,
d. XML library,
e. JSON Library,
f. Serialization and Deserialization
4. Coding of APIs using the various HTTP methods (GET, PUT, DELETE,
POST, PATCH,..)
5. PDO and input sanitization
a. Security CSRF, XSS, … Preventing and Handling JavaScript Injections,
SQL Injections
6. Thorough knowledge of the Core PHP functions, like array functions,
String functions, …
7. Basic Docker Knowledge
8. Basic knowledge of development of SaaS based applications and
products
9. PHP cURL Library
We require candidates who have actually developed API end-points the
Object-Oriented way and
not those who have just consumed third party APIs
